At Newark Northgate Station, Notts., on Friday, 28th June 1963, BR 'Class 47' Co-Co diesel No. D1512, built by Brush Traction of Loughborough in March 1963, was working the up 'Norseman' from Newcastle Tyne Commission Quay to King's Cross. It was withdrawn from service in August 1991 as TOPS No. 47413.
