BR 'Class 37' Co-Co diesel No. D6720. Built by English Electric Vulcan Foundry in June 1961 and withdrawn in Dec. 1986 as TOPS No. 37702.
These days, Parkeston Quay Station is called Harwich International. It was originally named in 1883 after Charles Parkes, chairman of the GER who (seemingly) has been deliberately dumped in favour of a trendy re-naming. This now much modified station is seen in earlier times with D6720 featured in January 1965.
