A fine portrait at Inverness in August 1963 of BR Class 06 Diesel Shunter No. D2423 - minus connecting rods! Thirty five of these 0-4-0 Shunters were built by Andrew Barclay Sons & Co. of Kilmarnock for use in Scotland. No. D2423 was built in April 1959 and was one of the last to be withdrawn in June 1980 as TOPS No. 06006.
