No 37 trundles wagons along at Ashington in September 1967.
The railway system at Ashington was very extensive - a photographer’s paradise, but I only managed to get there once. Ashington No.37 (post 1955 re-numbering) was RSH 7762/1954.
Note the shunter’s pole across the running plate above the front bufferbeam -so typical of NER territory.
