No 18 1967-09-10 Seaham
One of the most celebrated of all UK industrial engines.
NCB No 18, an 0-4-0 saddle tank at Seaham Harbour was reputed to have been built as a well tank by the Cornish engineering firm of Lewin in 1863, and was still intact and ready for use 104 years later at Seaham.
