The train is passing the goods shed (out of view on the left) on its way into the station and is probably substituting for one of the railbuses, rendered useless by the weather. Date is probably February or March 1963, when the loco was allocated to Swindon. Many thanks to Nigel Wassell for finally sorting the location of this puzzling negative.
