GWR 45xx 2-6-2T No 4571 with the 3.30pm St. Ives nearing Carbis Bay on 30 July 1960.

St. Blazey motive power depot was responsible for providing motive power for a number of the West Cornwall branch lines, including this one from St. Erth , on the main line though Cornwall, to St. Ives on the northern coast.
4571 was one of thirteen of its class housed at St. Blazey in the mid 'fifties ,the engines and their crews also tasked with working the china clay rosters over the various branch lines.
4571 is heading back to St. Erth from St. Ives in this view overlooking Carbis Bay.
