The last of the flat topped tanks, 4574 looks newly ex-works whilst working a "B set" and a mudhole cover has been allowed to hang on one bolt. The overflowing ballast bin is a nice detail for modellers.

Peter Kerslake adds "Newly repainted in lined green and running-iIn following overhaul 4574 was allocated to Truro, following three months stored out of service at Penzance. Early years had seen 4574 shedded at Tyseley and Bristol Bath Road but 4574 spent most of its life working in Cornwall."
