A down local waits to leave Euston behind ‘Black 5’ 4-6-0 No 44715 (of Rugby) in the late 1950s. Built 11/48; w/d 1/68.
Note "The Welshman" carriage roofboard in the background; London- Porthmadoc - quite a journey!
