We think this is departing Forres for Inverness, with the viaduct over the Findhorn visible behind the train.
Allocated to Perth South 44997 could run to Inverness via the Dava/Forres line rather than the Highland Mainline.

The topography is exactly right and old maps show a farmhouse in the correct position but Google Streetview does not help as it is heavily overgrown now.
