Ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' class 4-6-0 No. 45205 (pilot). Built by Armstrong Whittworth of Newcastle in November 1935 as LMS No. 5205 and withdrawn in October 1966.

Ex-LMS Stanier 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45575 'Victoria' (train). Built by NBL of Glasgow in Aug. 1934 as LMS No. 5575 and withdrawn in Jan. 1967. This atmospheric September 1965 view at Ribble Sidings in Preston captures a double-headed southbound express is about to cross the River Ribble as it threads its way towards the station. A freight is also seen deparing northbound in this busy scene.
