A glorious sight packed with period detail, taken in August 1964 on the WCML just south of Tebay. Ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' and 'Jubilee' 4-6-0s Nos. 45055 and 45742 'Connaught' double-head the 14:00 Glagow to Liverpool express. 45055 was built by Vulcan Foundry in Nov. 1934 as LMS NO. 5055. 45742 was builtat Crewe in Dec. 1936. They were withdrawn in Aug. 1968 and May 1965 repectively.
