Pity about the telegraph poles and the rather early picture , but our brave lineside photographer would have had problems if he had been on the other side of the tracks here on the Lickey and he has captured so very well that spectacular exhaust blowing away from him across the tracks .
At least the footplate crew on 44868 are making an effort and not leaving it all to the banker at the rear , as I suspect was often the case !
