45266 1948 Balornock
Newly repainted in plain black at St.Rollox 45266 pictured at Balornock looks rather strange with the 10” cab numbers and no tender emblem or insignia. A Carlisle Kingmoor engine since September 1944, it acquired this livery and its BR number during a Heavy General repair from 19/5/48-18/6/48. It was transferred to Perth in December 1949.
