The legendary Scotswood to Red Bank newspaper vans train was one of the great spectacles to be seen on the ECML and Calder Valley routes. It was usually double-headed and could (and often did) have any combination of motive power. On this occasion as more conventional combo of 'Black 5s' with 45076 piloting its unidentified classmate southbound from York. July 1964
