Agreed, this photograph is technically far from perfect, but what it lacks in this way it surely makes up for in sheer atmosphere. Gritty, foggy and steamy. The location is Stalybridge No.4 Box and 44950 is the foremost of the three (look carefully) steam locomotives evident in the view. This anonymous print was found amongst the late Steve Healey's negatives.
