Chinley in Derbyshire boasted a decent-sized station for a relatively rural and modestly populated area. This 1950s panorama is looking west as 'Black 5' 45262 departs with an Up express for Ambergate & Derby whilst a 'local' waits its turn in the bay platform. There's lots of period railway infrastructure to enjoy in this excellent view. Guinness is STILL good for us!
