A post-war Stanier ‘Class 5’ from Edge Hill shed, No.44772 on a fitted freight in about 1964 at Handsworth & Smethwick. Its upper lamp bracket has been moved down onto the smokebox door away from live overhead wires for safety reasons but note that the centre bracket has also been moved to the right so it is still underneath the upper one.
