A splendid March 1956 view of Lostock Troughs in Lancashire. Ex-LMS Stanier Black 5 No. 45236 seems to be content with the tender's contents as it hurries by with her 8-coach 1-van train. 45236 wa built by Armstrong Whitworth in Aug. 1936 as LMS No. 5236 and was withdrawn in Dec. 1967.
