This splendid July 1966 image of ex-LMS Stanier 'Black 5' No. 44855 is at Skelton Junction, Timperley in Cheshire. It is heading a Stoney Bridge Scunthorpe to Monks Hall freight of steel via Guide Bridge. 44855 was built at Crewe in Dec. 1944 as LMS No. 4855 and was withdrawn in May 1968.
