The board holding the train reporting number on Class ‘5’ No. 44821 has flicked over, so we cannot know what this working is, but as the first four vehicles are Stanier coaches it is likely to be a special. It is on the Chester line, which dips under the Crewe line a mile or so further south, the latter being visible to the right of the house roof. No. 44821 was from Bangor shed at this date, although it was transferred to Holyhead in June 1965.
