44923 on 3 June 1952 at Connel Ferry was sent new to Blackpool in January 1946 but moved to St.Rollox two months later and was withdrawn from there in 1964. It was built with a part-welded tender and was briefly paired with two of the coal-weighing tenders in 1947 and 1952; it acquired its first riveted tender in April 1952.
