Trafford Park 9E allocated (from 1954 to 1959) LMS 3P 2-6-2T No 40055 with ECS at Manchester Central. It is most likely 1958 as 42479 did not move to Trafford Park until January of that year, unless it worked across the CLC from its previous shed of Brunswick? I do not know enough about loco rosters of the CLC to comment but this shot certainly has a mid 1950s look about it.
