Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No 41326 near Ashurst on May 4, 1963.
Robert Waterman says "There is a second headcode disc on the smokebox which says this is an Oxtead - Tunbridge Wells West (or vice-versa) service. The 2 car Maunsell push-pull set was also more usual for this service (although not being worked by a PP fitted loco in this instance). Trains to/from Brighton to Oxted normally went through to Victoria or London Bridge and were formed of main line stock more usually with a tender engine. Three disc headcode nos. 27 or 29 would also have been used".
