BR Peppercorn 'A1' 4-6-2 No. 60126 'Sir Vincent Raven' was named after the last Chief Mechanical Engineer of the North Eastern Railway. Here in August 1963, it rests in company with one of his predecessor's 'J27' class 0-6-0s a Wilson Worsdell design. The unmistakeable front end of a Riddles 'WD' 2-8-0 behind and the magnificence of York Minster is on the skyline. 60126 was built at Doncaster in April 1949 and was withdrawn in Jan. 1965
