In company with a very begrimed '9F' 2-10-0 in York MPD yard, 'Boswell' can hardly be described as clean in this November 1964 photograph. 'Workaday' might be a better adjective! BR Peppercorn 'A1' No. 60138 was built at Darlington in Dec. 1948 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1965.
