This 1962 view sees 'Foxhunter' getting under way from the former GNR/LNWR/LYR terminus at Leeds Central Station. It is in charge of the up 'Yorkshire Pullman' that ran from 1935 until its demise in 1978, though Leeds Central had closed in 1967. BR Peppercorn 'A1' 4-6-2 No. 60134 was built at Darlington in Nov. 1948 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1965. The buildings on the left are the wagon hoist tower and the former LNWR/LYR goods shed.
