A fine May 1965 study of a long-time resident of York MPD, BR Peppercorn 'A1' class 4-6-2 No. 60155 'Borderer'. The weathering of the bufferbeam paintwork and boiler are indications that her time may well be nigh. Remarkably, it still bears her nameplates proudly, having not (yet!) suffered the indignity of their removal. Built at Doncaster in September 1949, withdrawn in October 1965.
