The late afternoon sun in October 1962, highlights 'Flamboyant' and its train as they approach York. They are passing the race day platforms at Holgate, and will be slowing for the run into the station. 60153 was built at Doncaster in Aug. 1949 and was withdrawn in Nov. 1962, just one month after this lovely photograph was taken.
