Many photographs were taken at Leeds City Station, but seldom (if ever) from this unusual and wonderful viewpoint. This 1960s photograph shows the eastern approach into the station with BR Peppercorn 'A1' 4-6-2 No. 60155 'Borderer' about to cross the bridge over Briggate with a train for York. 60155 was built at Doncaster in Sept. 1949 and withdrawn in Oct. 1965.
