Fitted with a tender cab, ex-Midland Railway Fowler '4F' 0-6-0 LMS No.3999 at Crewe Works in August 1938.It has not received a re-paint and thus may still be 'in the queue' for works attention. 3999 served from June 1921 until withdrawal in May 1965 as BR No. 43999.
