LMS Crab 2-6-0 No 2725 with an express from Nottingham at Trent North Junction on 24 August 1935. It was recorded as a Nottingham-Derby fast but from here it could go to Leicester or Derby (via Sheet Stores jcn), but seven coaches seems a lot for a destination of Derby.

At the time 2725 was allocated to 23A Bank Hall, which would make it a rarity in these parts, but which doesn’t give much of a clue to its destination.
