High in the Pennines class EM2 27002 Aurora heads away from the Woodhead Tunnel en route from Manchester to Sheffield in the later years of operations on the trans Pennnine line, passenger services ending in early January of 1970 with cross country passenger services between Sheffield and Manchester thereafter being diverted to the Hope Valley line , with Sheffield Victoria station closing on the 5th January 1970.
