Still in service as it was not withdrawn until 22 July- it then sat around the works for just a month before being despatched. Strangely it was on the works dump line in September 1960 in much worse condition than seen here and there are other similar 1961 photos of it in this condition so it must have been returned to service, possibly to work the LCGB 'The Solent Limited' rail tour on 30th April 1961.
