LSWR T9 4-4-0 No 30709 with the 3.13pm Padstow-Exeter Central entering Exeter St.Davids on 18 June 1959.

Two E1/R 0-6-2Ts are waiting in their usual place and ready for their next duty banking a Southern Region working up the severe climb to Central station. The crossing keeper at Red Cow crossing is keeping any wayward pedestrians out of harm's way. Another Southern working is waiting on the right ready to head off to North Devon.
