A great line up .
An impressive line up here at Exmouth Junction on Whitsun Saturday , 21st . May , 1956 with two " T9 ' s " heading the line.
The third engine is one of the Adams Radial Tanks from the Lyme Regis line.

Exmouth Junction opened on this site in 1927 and even as late as 1961 still retained over one hundred locomotives on its allocation , including no less than forty six Bulleid " Pacifics " and so , together with its six sub sheds , was an important establishment on the Southern Region , remaining so until closure in 1965.
