Whilst not unknown, NER designed Raven 'B16s' were not exactly commonplace on the ex-L&YR metals in the Calder Valley. Nonetheless, here's LNER-built 61449 shunting in the goods yard at Elland. Behind, the station had already closed in September 1962. Ever ongoing plans for a new station at Elland grind slowly! This photo was taken on Sunday 2nd June 1963.
