An unusual view from April 1963 at the north end of York Station, it features the diamond crossings at Waterworks Junction and the route to Malton and Yorkshire's east coast resorts. Approaching is North Eastern Railway designed Raven 'B16/3' No. 61467 with York's breakdown train. 61467 was built at Darlington in Jan. 1924 as LNER No. 1384 and withdrawn in June 1964.
