The sight of double-headed 'B16' 4-6-0s was not unknown but it was most certainly a rarity! Photographed at Dringhouses against a dramatic evening sky, the pair bring a down express into York's suburbs. They are 'B16/2' No. 61435 piloting an unidentified 'B16/1' classmate. 61435 was built at Darlington in November 1922 as NER No. 2364 and was withdrawn in July 1964.
