Recorded as a Down freight originally identified by the photographer as Forres Junction, but we are sure he meant junction for the Forres line.

Alistair Barrie was born and bread in Forres, and visited the station every day after school and is postitive this is not Forres Station or the junctions around it.
He suggests could it be a "Forres Junction" at Millburn Yard area at Inverness and another picture confirms this.

The Inverness, Forres line was singled at this point in the early sixties.
