There appears to be a small disc on the front of this ex-works blue peak which is a cover for an electrical point to allow the train manager to talk to the train crew by phone when, and only when, working the royal train. Loco has just received full refurbishment and repaint at Brush, Loughborough, with nose end grilles having hinges catches and solid triangular panel replaced with louvered grille under main bodyside grille.
