61974 1960-04 Daybrook
61974 is making a stop with a 3-coach 'local' at the ex-GNR Daybrook Station in Nottinghamshire in April 1960, the final week before closure.
The adjacent packing factory is that of 'Be-Ro' flour. This famous brand name stems from (BE)ll's (RO)yal flour, founded at Newcastle in 1875. Ex-LNER Gresley 'K3' 2-6-0 No. 61974 was built at Darlington in Nov. 1936 as LNER No. 3814 and was withdrawn in July 1962.
