London & North Western Railway Webb 'Improved Precedent' class 2-4-0 No. 868 'Condor'. Built at Crewe in June 1877 and Withdrawn in June 1911.

Although this is not the sharpest photograph, I hope it's technical shortcomings can be overlooked and appreciated as a fine image of a long lost everyday scene. This is a down express at Bescot, Walsall in Staffordshire circa 1903.
