LNWR Class G2 No 8905 toils uphill with a long freight at Pen-y-bont in April 1939. This location is 30 miles north west of Swansea in Radnorshire on the Central Wales line. No 8905 later transferred from Wales to Bescot and was not withdrawn by BR until June 1959.
