CR 903 1910c Beattock Bank

CR 903 1910c Beattock Bank

CR '903' 4-6-0 No 903 Cardean in c1910 descending Beattock Bank southbound having just come through the cutting at MP49.
We don't think this is the Royal Train (as originally captioned) but an ordinary WCML up express. The first four carriages are 12 wheel vehicles from the 1908 2pm corridor stock (the leading coach is a brake third to D62) and a 12 wheel clerestory diner built 1905. The remaining carriages appear to be WCJS arc roof carriages
