This is Moreton Cutting to the east of Didcot. The train is on the up relief with the loop line into the yard to its left. The signal post if completely visable would show that it contained 3 signals - down main, down main to down relief and Down main to the avoiding line towards Oxford. This has always been a popular spot for photographers, but not usually seen from this angle. I assume that is a Ramp for the old GWR AWS System in the four foot by the men.
