BR Standard 2MT 2-6-2T No.84006 went new to Burton in August 1953 and stayed there until January 1959 when it was transferred to Wellingborough in exchange for an Ivatt 2-6-2T. Three of the class were at Burton for use on the 'Tutbury Jenny' push-pull trains between Burton and Tutbury; they also worked the Burton to Leicester locals. The Ind Coope & Allsopp Ltd brewery in the background was built in 1859.
