A North Tyneside EMU, car No 24155 leading on the line betweeen Newcastle Central Station and Manors, approaching Manors station on Dean St viaduct (The tracks are all the ECML at this point rather than the N Tyneside loop). The Castle Keep is on the left of the photograph and Newcastle Cathedral on the right on August 20, 1947.
