On Saturday 1st August 1953, photographer Howard Turner has luckily found a quiet moment at Edinburgh Waverley Station. His subject is one of the 43 fine William Reid designed ex-North British Railway 'J' (LNER 'D30' or 'Scott') class 4-4-0s No. 62425 'Ellangowan'. p.s.
