42779 at Willesden in July 1958 is paired with a snap head riveted tender without beading on the tank which was built with Stanier 2-6-0 13248, and which it ran with from February 1954. 42779 was at Bescot for over twenty years, from June 1937 until April 1959 when it was transferred the short distance to Aston.
